The first time I had really good yogurt, it was 1999, and I was in France. Our run-of-the-mill yogurts (Yoplait and the like) are an entirely different product from this creamy, smooth delicacy. It tastes indulgent. This Greek yogurt is very close to that, but I've got to go back to France for the genuine article.

i love this yogurt too...especially the honey one.
Fage is my favorite! If you want to make it extra thick, plop it in a fine mesh strainer for a bit to let any extra liquid drain out. Let it sit overnite in the fridge and it turns out almost like ricotta.
I love Fage! I recently used some to make some frozen yogurt. It's just like Pinkberry (popular chain in NYC and probably elsewhere).
What I really love about it is that even the fat free version is very creamy and satisfying.
Thanks for the suggestion--I'll go over to Tarpon Springs and hunt for some Greek yogurt!
